  1. Develop the company’s Biomedical Branch which offers research, project management, consulting and development services related to the Biomedical Engineering of: Biotechnology; Pharmaceuticals; Cosmetics, Animal Health, Supplies & Devices; Medical Supplies, Devices & Instrumentations, Laboratories & Equipment; and Prosthesis.
  2. Biomedical Engineering – Project Management:
  • Coordination of all biomedical engineering projects;
  • Communication with engineers of other specialties;
  • Strategic planning;
  • Budgeting;
  • Project Evolution;
  • Project timeline scheduling;
  • Coordination of meetings for project development;
  • Communication between owners and companies involved in project;
  • Improve project management toolkits and methodologies;
  • Provide biomedical engineering expertise and consulting for project;

Serve as a team leader for project by demonstrating knowledge in biomedical engineering and by motivating team members.

  1. Develop and coordinate Biomedical Engineering Department by creating policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for research and safety standards, Production Systems, time schedules, tracking inventory, creation and management of budgets, and overseeing contractual obligations and deadlines.
  2. Improve process management by identifying and checking the quality of the suppliers’ materials as specified for implementation.
  3. Conduct scientific research on the engineering aspects of the biological systems of humans and animals related to the products the company is interested in marketing or developing. This includes evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical products, devices, and equipment.
  4. Design and develop medical diagnostic and clinical instrumentation, equipment, and procedures, using the principles of engineering and bio behavioral science.
  5. Conduct biomedical engineering consultations based upon the related research studies.
  6. Research new materials to be used for products, such as implanted artificial organs, etc.
  7. Travels throughout the U.S. and abroad as needed to meet and support clients who are interested in the Company’s biomedical engineering services.
  8. Stays abreast of scientific developments in biomedical engineering via scientific journals and publications both in the U.S. and abroad.
